About Us

Jaimi and David Levy founded the Levy Castle Family Foundation as an effort to assist in finding a cure for diabetes. Their sons, Sam and Jack Levy, were diagnosed with Type 1 Diabetes at the age of nineteen and three years old, respectively. The annual basketball tournament is the largest fundraiser for the Foundation. The Foundation also participates every fall with the Juvenile Diabetes Research Foundation's (JDRF) Walk to Cure Diabetes, as well as the JDRF Promise Ball, which is the gala held by the local Philadelphia Southeastern region's JDRF chapter event.
